Nathalie and Daniel had their wedding at the Registry Office in Dublin last December. They decided to have an intimate ceremony and planned a wedding lunch at Fallon and Byrne for just family and close friends.
Nathalie is a model and I photographed once before. It was so easy work with her and naturally I was really excited for her special day. I didn’t know her partner Daniel and I was surprised to know his father speaks Portuguese.
It was a very emotional wedding. There were tears of joy in everyone’s eyes. Including mine.
One of my favourite things was their ‘walking out’ of the registry. As you may know people are not allowed to have rice or confetti at the Registry Office, so Nathalie and Daniel organised so that the guests could blow bubbles. There were bubbles everywhere and we got beautiful photos!
After the ceremony we went to the canal for some photos but had to stop because of the rain. By the time we arrived at Fallon and Byrne the sun was shining again so we decided to do some more photos of them at the street. That part of Dublin is one of my favourites and I love the old buildings in the area. There were so many people walking up and down the streets and it was great to see the smiles and greetings coming from them - it reminded me a lot of my own wedding day!
Another thing I thought was very nice was that Nathalie did her own bouquet. It looked beautiful and matched her bridal look perfectly. Check the photos out:
